Review 1 - Monty Roberts at the ILPH

This is my first review me, Barry and Rachel went off to see Monty Roberts at the ILPH at Snetterton. As we all left straight from work we were starving hungry and ended up eating in one of the most shocking restaurant I have ever eaten in, sorry this is not the review it was just quite funny.

We arrived at Snetterton a bit late and the show was about to begin Rachel was in the loo and Barry and I ended up standing next to the Man himself. We were both going, is it him, I’m sure it’s him and it was! We got somewhere to stand just as it was starting. I thought it was a very good demonstration, it made the things you read in his books seem easier to understand, it was quite unbelievable seeing him work with the horses.

There where six horses he worked with and by the end they had all improved dramatically. I think a lot of it comes down to having the right environment to work with your horse and persevering with what you are trying to teach your horse. I liked the evening he obviously cares a lot about the protection and training of horses and works very hard spreading his work around the world. I would recommend going to watch Monty Roberts if you get the chance or buying one of his books.
